Janel Lynn

Janel Lynn, LMSW, is a dedicated Licensed Master Social Worker with a strong background in case management, crisis intervention, and substance use disorders. Janel holds a Master's degree in Social Work and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health at Wayne State University, expected to conclude in January 2026. Presently, they serve as a University Counselor II and Case Manager at Wayne State University, while also supervising the Crisis Assessment Team at Common Ground. Janel's previous roles include serving as a Substance Abuse Counselor at the Rainbow Center of Michigan and Director of Social Services at MediLodge. With a passion for advocacy and community well-being, Janel strives to promote equitable access to resources and foster lasting change in mental health and public health systems.
