Dane Sanders

Vice President of Employee Development & Performance at Common Thread Collective

Dane Sanders has a wealth of work experience. In 2000, they began their career as the Director of the Center for Leadership & Character Development at Westmont College. In 2003, they founded Flying "S" Inc., where they helped business owners and their teams design great company cultures and published two best-selling business books for creatives. From 2006 to 2012, they served as the Director of RHU at Rockharbor. Dane then moved on to become the Development Director for Academic Centers at Biola University. In 2015, they became an Ambassador for Alpha USA. In 2019, they became a Co-Founder of Men and Women Of Discomfort (MWOD) and a Speaker and Facilitator for StoryBrand. Dane also became the Co-Founder of Tell Me Your Dreams, LLC. and a Certified Business Coach for Business Made Simple. Most recently, in 2023, they became the Vice President of Employee Development & Performance at Common Thread Collective, where they are responsible for the growth and improvement of the entirety of the CTC employee base.

Dane Sanders has completed four educational programs. From 1988 to 1991, they attended Dalhousie University and studied Commerce. Dane then attended Biola University from 1991 to 1993, where they earned a BS in Business Marketing. Dane returned to Biola University from 2003 to 2005, earning an MA in Philosophy and Ethics. Finally, in 2018, they completed the altMBA program.
