Aaron Riester

Aaron Riester is an experienced professional in both the hospitality and education sectors. Currently serving as Bar Manager at Duck Duck Goat since March 2017, Aaron also contributes as a Program Instructor at Common Threads, providing underserved youth in Chicago Public Schools with culturally enriching nutrition lessons and hands-on cooking classes. Previous roles include Bartender at The Promontory and Unite Urban Grill, where outstanding customer service was consistently noted. As Assistant Store Manager at American Eagle Outfitters, Aaron oversaw the daily operations of a high-revenue retail store. An early career included work as an intern at the Iowa Children’s Museum and as a Commission Member for the Iowa Department of Public Health, where public health policies were administered. Aaron holds dual B.A. degrees in Communications Studies and Art from the University of Iowa and a certification in Human Resources Management from DePaul University.
