Jared Batson is a culinary professional with extensive experience in private culinary services, consulting, and educational roles. Currently, Jared serves as the owner and chef of Onion Bulb Productions LLC, providing private culinary and consulting services since February 2020. Additionally, Jared holds positions as a culinary advisor and director of culinary at the Stanley M. Isaacs Neighborhood Center, as well as a chef instructor at Common Threads. Previous experience includes roles as a culinary and kitchen design consultant and culinary operations manager at Zuul, where Jared oversaw operations for NYC's first dedicated ghost kitchen. Other notable positions encompass chef instructor roles at The Brooklyn Kitchen and Cooking Fools, executive chef of R&D at Cooper's Hawk Winery and Restaurants, and ownership of the award-winning mobile catering business, The Nomad Food Company LLC. We equip under-resourced communities with information to make affordable, nutritious and appealing food choices wherever they live, work, learn, and play. We know that food is rooted in culture and tradition so we promote diversity in our lessons and recipes, encouraging our participants to celebrate the world around them.
