Common Tide empowers founders who are dedicated to building exceptional companies, despite the high personal and financial risks of startup life. By enabling founders to pursue ambitious goals without risking their entire financial future, we’re creating a more sustainable and supportive entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Common Tide was created to provide VC-backed startup founders with a way to diversify their financial risk while building their companies. By allowing qualifying founders to invest a small percentage of their own equity into a shared fund, Common Tide transforms the founder’s personal stake into part of a diversified portfolio. This tax-advantaged approach helps founders avoid the “all-or-nothing” financial outcome that often accompanies startup life.

Beyond to financial diversification, Common Tide cultivates a powerful community of like-minded founders who provide mutual mentorship and guidance. By bringing together driven entrepreneurs in a collaborative network, we strengthen each founder’s journey, making it easier to navigate the challenges of building a successful company.
