Geoff Harcourt

Geoff Harcourt has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Geoff started their career as a Consultant at CGI in 2004 and worked there until 2009. After that, they served as the Marketplace Director at Salsa Labs, Inc. from 2009 to 2010. Geoff then worked as a Project Manager at Matrix Group International from 2010 to 2012. From 2012 to 2014, they owned their own consulting and software development company called Five Tool Development. In 2014, Geoff became the Co-Founder and CTO of Cortex Building Intelligence, where they helped design and implement data intake processes and algorithms. In 2015, they joined thoughtbot as a Developer, and they opened their Washington, D.C. office. Lastly, Geoff served as the CTO at CommonLit Inc. from 2018, where they worked on various projects including infrastructure preparation, application performance improvement, and data migration.

Geoff Harcourt earned a Bachelor's degree in History from Harvard University, studying from 2000 to 2004.
