Steve Heilig

Steve Heilig is a multifaceted professional based in San Francisco, currently serving as the Director of Public Health and Education at the San Francisco Medical Society and co-director of the Collaborative on Health and the Environment. With extensive experience as a journalist, critic, and blogger since 1990, Heilig has contributed to notable publications including the Huffington Post and the San Francisco Chronicle. Heilig also holds the position of co-editor at the Cambridge Quarterly of Healthcare Ethics and has been an ethicist for Sutter/California Pacific Medical Centers since 2000. Currently pursuing studies at the UCLA School of Public Health, Heilig remains dedicated to the fields of health, ethics, and environmental issues.
