Mark Walker has over 35 years of experience in environmental management and regulatory compliance, specializing in NEPA processes and natural resource management. Currently serving as the Environmental Section Manager and Project Manager at Commonwealth Associates, Inc., Mark oversees environmental permitting related to transmission and distribution electrical facilities. Prior roles include Senior NEPA Manager at Gulf South Research Corporation, where responsibilities included the preparation of NEPA documents and compliance tracking. Mark also held positions as Senior Permitting Specialist at Logan Simpson Design and Senior Regulatory Manager at Abonmarche Consultants, Inc., focusing on project management and regulatory permitting. Mark began a career in the energy sector as a Forestry Control Inspector at Indiana Michigan Power. Mark holds a Bachelor’s degree in Forestry from Purdue University.
