Robert Vantol

Robert vanTol, P.E., currently serves as the Protection and Control Manager and Project Manager at Commonwealth Associates, Inc. since January 2021. Prior to this role, Robert held the position of Senior Engineer at Ulteig from April 2020 to January 2021 and served as Engineering Supervisor at LCRA from August 2008 to April 2020, leading a team in substation design and providing technical oversight for major electrical equipment. Earlier experience includes a role as an Electrical Engineer at LCRA, focusing on substation protection and control systems, and an engineering internship at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where Robert designed systems for power and communication during radiation testing. Robert's early career included service as a Nuclear Electronics Technician in the US Navy from April 1998 to March 2004. Robert holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from California State University, Chico, completed in 2008.
