Roger Custer is an accomplished development professional with extensive experience in fundraising and organizational strategy. Currently serving as Senior Advisor at the Commonwealth Foundation, Custer advises on major gift relationships and oversees substantial foundation portfolios. Previously, as Vice President of Development, Custer led a fundraising team that raised over $35 million in a single year for a prominent public policy think tank. Custer also held key roles at the Institute for Humane Studies, including Director of Major Gifts and Director of Foundation Relations, and successfully expanded America's Future Foundation from a small budget to over $1 million. Custer began a career in development at Young America's Foundation, managing national conferences and educational programs.
