Ward Ruby has extensive experience in engineering, specializing in development roles within the fusion and cryoelectronics sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Development Engineer at Commonwealth Fusion Systems since October 2019, Ward also operates Shoreline Technologies, established in January 1996. Previous positions include Senior Development Engineer at STAR Cryoelectronics from April 2018 to January 2023, and at Conductus from 1991 to 1996. Ward began a career as an Engineer at the University of Florida from 1986 to 1991. Ward holds a Master of Science in Materials Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, both from the University of Florida, completed between 1974 and 1991.
