Assistant Director, Foreign Investment Division at Commonwealth Treasury

Allison Guy has held various roles throughout their work experience. Allison started their career as a Project Officer at Queensland University of Technology in 2004 and eventually became a Project Manager. Allison then worked as a Compliance Examiner at the Ontario Securities Commission from 2015 to 2019. From 2010 to 2015, they worked as a Regulatory Analyst at the Alberta Securities Commission. In 2019, they took a break from work to focus on personal development and traveling. Allison returned to work in 2020, joining Deloitte as a Manager in Governance, Regulatory, and Conduct Advisory. In 2021, they joined the Commonwealth Treasury and held roles as a Policy Analyst and Assistant Director in the Financial System and Foreign Investment Divisions, respectively.

Allison Guy has a diverse education history. Allison obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) Honours degree from Griffith University in 2003 and a Bachelor of International Business degree from the same university between 1996 and 1998. In 2011, they pursued a Canadian Securities Course at CSI Global Education Inc., focusing on finance and financial management services.
