David Ceylon currently serves as an Analyst in the Tax Treaties Branch of the Corporate International Tax Division at the Commonwealth Treasury, a position held since February 2021. Prior to this role, David completed an internship at Jubilee Australia Research Centre, where responsibilities included research and data analysis related to economic justice in the Asia-Pacific region. David also worked as a Research Assistant with the Lowy Institute, focusing on fact-checking for the 2019 Asia Power Index. Academic achievements include a Master of International Law & International Relations and a Bachelor of Media, Screen & Sound from UNSW, where David earned a distinction average and high distinctions in relevant subjects. Leadership experience includes serving as President and Marketing & Public Relations Director for the UNSW United Nations Society.
