Mitchell Buckingham

Mitchell Buckingham is a legal professional with a background in policy, corporate law, and financial markets. They served as an Associate to His Honour Judge Montgomery at the District Court of NSW from 2016 to 2017, followed by roles at Squire Patton Boggs and Thomson Geer, where they focused on commercial litigation and dispute resolution. From 2021 to 2022, Mitchell worked as an Assistant Director and Senior Policy Analyst at the Commonwealth Treasury, designing and implementing corporate and financial markets reforms, as well as focusing on corporations law and beneficial ownership reforms. Mitchell holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of International Studies from UNSW Australia, completed in 2016.
