Paz Baum is an Innovation Strategist at Commonwealth, currently focusing on innovative solutions. In the past, Paz served as a Policy Intern in the Office of NJ Governor Phil Murphy, where they researched maternal and infant health policies, and held various roles as a data intern, including with The Children's Home Society of NJ and the Metropolitan Data Science Corps. They completed a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Data Science, and Gender and Sexuality Studies at Northwestern University, where they are also a Research Assistant studying teenagers’ abortion access. Additionally, Paz gained experience as a Research Fellow at Northwestern and as a Communications Intern at Healing Politics.
