John Whitty

John Whitty is a chairman and investor. They currently serve as the chairman of Gradwell Communications Ltd and of Comms365 Limited. Their past leadership roles include Foreman of Signals at The Royal Corps of Signals (1982-2000) and executive positions such as Managing Director at GCI Com (2012-2015), Chief Executive Officer at Kabel-X Rest of the World (2008-2012), Chief Executive Officer at Solar Communications (2015-2019), and Chief Technical Officer at Pipex Communications (2000-2008). They also worked as an M&A Consultant for Air IT in 2022 and held the role of Chief Executive Officer at Air IT. Their education includes a BSc in Telecommunications from The Open University (1995-2000), an MSc in Data Communications (Distance Learning) from Brunel University London (2000-2003), and an HND in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from the Royal School of Signals (1993-1995).
