David Whitworth

David Whitworth is a seasoned program manager with extensive experience in hardware development and design management. Currently serving as a Senior Program Manager at CommScope since April 2019, David oversees the HW design teams for Charter Router and EMTA. David's tenure at ARRIS began in July 2000, where responsibilities include managing hardware development programs for EMTAs, cable modems, telephony gateways, and wireless telephony gateways. As a Senior Program Manager for R&D CPE at ARRIS Broadband, David played a pivotal role in the design and launch of the first Xfinity gateway for Comcast in 2012. Prior to this, David held positions at EMS Technologies from 1985 to June 2000, including Space Programs Materials Manager and PMP Manager, focusing on materials and parts selection for satellite components. David holds an MBA in Management from Georgia State University, along with a BS in Industrial Engineering and a BS in Applied Biology from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
