Steve Schmerber has over 30 years of experience in sales and technical management within the telecommunications industry. Currently serving as Senior Principal Field Application Engineer and Technical Director for the East Region at CommScope since October 2009, Steve oversees Technical Managers and is responsible for operations in Tennessee and the Carolinas, while also serving as a technology greeter at the Claremont Factory. Prior roles include Territory Sales Manager positions at CommScope, Avaya, and Alcatel-Lucent, where Steve successfully managed sales quotas for SYSTIMAX products. Early career experience at AT&T, Lucent Technologies, and Avaya encompassed various roles, contributing to significant operational and sales management initiatives. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Technology from Texas A&M University.
