Ian Bettany

Ian Bettany has had a diverse range of work experience, starting with their current role as Chief Product Owner at CommSec, where they lead a team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and business outcomes. Prior to this, they worked at Telstra in various roles, including Lead Product Owner and Product Owner, where they were responsible for driving the vision, strategy, and roadmap of the business in an agile delivery framework. Before Telstra, Ian was at nabtrade, where they served as a Front Office SME Team Leader and Business Analyst, leading a team in implementing an Online Share Trading Platform. Ian also has experience at MLC as a Service Centre Manager, overseeing a team of consultants providing servicing solutions and product information to financial advisers. Ian's earlier experience includes a role as a Logistics Manager at Louis Vuitton and as an ATM Help-desk Team Leader at Siemens.

Ian Bettany attended Littleover Community School from 1991 to 1996. Ian then continued their education at Sheffield Hallam University from 1998 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Urban Studies.
