András Váradi is an experienced research director at Commsignia since January 2015, responsible for coordinating research and standardization activities, as well as establishing operational mechanisms for a new business unit. Váradi is a member of the ETSI Specialist Task Force, contributing to the development of the functional architecture for Intelligent Transport Systems standards. In previous roles, Váradi served as a project manager for SECREDAS and PRoPART, focusing on cybersecurity and precise positioning for automated systems. Váradi's earlier experience includes project management at lesswire AG, where responsibilities included driver integration and leading EU-funded research projects. Váradi began a career in development and technical support for home automation systems as a freelancer before earning a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
