Commun-ET, LLC
Permitting · Utility Coordination · Results

We find the bottleneck before it finds your schedule.

Commun-ET is a national, AI-native permitting, utility coordination, and external construction management firm headquartered in Washington, DC. We work for national retail, restaurant, and development clients whose openings depend on approvals clearing on time.

WHAT WE DO
Permitting. We carry projects from intake through Certificate of Occupancy, managing building, health, sign, fire, and business license approvals across jurisdictions. We track every approval to final sign-off rather than handing off at submission.

Utility Coordination. Service applications, capacity confirmations, easements, and relocations across electric, gas, and water providers. Utility timelines rarely match construction timelines. We manage that gap deliberately, at portfolio level, with named coordinators at each provider.

External Construction Management. Agency relationships, inspection sequencing, and the outside-the-fence work that keeps a schedule intact.

PERMITPILOT
AI-assisted. Human-guided. Permits approved.

PermitPilot is our proprietary AI service layer. It tracks dozens of approvals in parallel, surfaces dependencies, and keeps every agency clock visible across a portfolio. Every recommendation it produces is guided and monitored by our permitting managers before anything moves. The technology keeps the clocks visible. Our people make the calls.

WHO WE WORK WITH
National restaurant and retail brands, quick-service and convenience operators, automotive service, real estate developers, and government agencies. Clients include McDonald's USA, 7-Eleven, Valvoline, Wonder, Wingstop, and Pop Up Bagels.

HOW WE FIT
We do not replace the partners already on your bench. We add the dedicated permitting horsepower that keeps an aggressive schedule intact when approvals get complicated. Every agency on its own clock, and us ahead of all of them.
