Allan Ball

Allan believes authentic community, stakeholder and third-party engagement can help Australians better understand the challenges of violence towards women, and how to best engage men and boys in the process of cultural change. He has previously worked for the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) as the National Director Rural and Remote, Director SA & NT Community Engagement and at SA Health as the Director of Consumer and Community Engagement. During his formative years, he also worked as a mental health clinician in forensic Child and Adolescent Health Services, Local Government and in Not-For-Profit organizations.

Over the last decade, Allan has gained invaluable experience in frontline service delivery to assist women and children experiencing domestic and family violence. He has also led executive management in health and Government environments to support the voice of people with lived experience.
