The “Community Boosting Organization” is a board-led civil society organization established and spearheaded by young physicians and health professionals with extensive community service and public health backgrounds. It has been officially registered under Proclamation No. 1113/2011 of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. 

CBO has a wide range of objectives that aim to improve community health and the health system, promote human rights, democracy, and peace, enhance education, support organizations with similar goals, address emergency situations and their aftermath, improve community capacity through training, and empower women, children, youths, and disabled people. We also focus on health-related agriculture, agro-processing, manufacturing, climate change, and the ecosystem.
