Dave Baker has an extensive career in broadcasting and audio production, currently serving as Operations Manager at Community Broadcasters, LLC since September 2015, where management of multiple market broadcast operations is a key responsibility. As the co-host and producer of the morning radio show "Wake Up Carolina" on WFRK-FM since August 2012, Dave has played a pivotal role in establishing the show's local dominance. Owner of Baker Audio Productions, providing voice-over services since January 1992, Dave has also held significant roles including VP/Operations Manager at Miller Communications from January 2001 to August 2015, where a major expansion of the radio group occurred, and various programming and operational positions in earlier roles at Scott Studios Corp, Atlantic Broadcasting, and other stations. Dave's foundational experience in the industry dates back to the mid-1980s, beginning with roles at WJMX AM/FM and WMFX-FM. Education was completed at Coshocton High School, where studies took place from 1981 to 1985.

We established Community Broadcasters, LLC in 2006. Our vision was to become “a voice for the community” in smaller to mid-size markets in the upstate New York region. To achieve this, we’ve committed ourselves to local programming in all of the markets we serve. Our focus is local news, sports and area events, not just syndicated programming. We believe strongly in giving back to the communities we serve through community involvement, public service and charitable contribution. One of the important charities we support is the Children’s Miracle Network. To further their mission of providing free medical care for children in need, Community Broadcaster’s raises nearly $400,000 each year. And we’re considered a good employer.
