Matthew Downs has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. Matthew began their career in 1994 as a Commercial Credit Analyst for Riggs National Bank. In 1995, they moved to National Cooperative Bank, where they served as an Assistant Vice President. In 2000, they became an MBA Summer Intern at Booz Allen Hamilton, and then an Associate and Senior Associate (client engagement manager) at the same company. From 2005 to 2015, they worked at GE Capital, first as Chief Marketing Officer of Corporate Finance, then as Chief Marketing Officer of Healthcare Financial Services, and finally as New Markets | New Product Leader of Healthcare Financial Services. In 2015, they moved to Citizens Commercial Banking as the Senior Vice President, Head of Commercial Banking Strategy. Most recently, in 2020, they joined Community Capital Technology (CCT) as the Chief Strategy Officer. During their time at CCT, they signed the company's largest and most profitable private label marketplace client, and created the market sizing, market channel segmentation and financial forecast model for use in investor capital raises. Matthew also partnered with the CEO and COO to help raise over $2.5MM in early round capital investments from external investors.

Matthew Downs graduated from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business with an MBA in Corporate Strategy & Marketing. Prior to that, they obtained a BBA in Finance from Loyola University Maryland Sellinger School of Business and Management.
