At Community Chest Durban we strive to be the leading agent of change. We empower people and organisations to enhance the quality of life of those who need support.

Community Chest is the only funder that donates 100% of public funds received to impact partners. This provides our donors with the assurance that their funds are being used for the intended purpose.

With over 90 years of experience in social development and unimpeached reputation, we remain accountable to all stakeholders in the fulfilment of our annual grant making and capacity building commitments.

We are driven by a passion to restore dignity and hope in those indirectly in our care.
