Alex Smith

Alex Smith is the Health Program Manager at Community Concepts Maine, where they focus on education and advocacy in public health. Previously, Alex developed and managed a volunteer program at NeighborWorks Green Bay, successfully launching "The Farmory" and guiding it to become a self-sustaining non-profit. Throughout their diverse career, they facilitated adventure education programs, worked as a paraprofessional, and created trauma-informed lessons for K-6th grade students. Alex holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and Psychology from St. Norbert College. Passionate about local, sustainable food efforts, they employ creative, hands-on teaching methods in their work.
