Community Connect is a registered charity in the Republic of Ireland, which supports pregnant women and new parents in a practical and tangible way.

Many new parents in Ireland, and women experiencing unexpected pregnancies, struggle with the nagging question: how will I provide for my baby? Community Connect exists to help answer this question with practical, material supports so that mums and parents feel more secure and supported in bringing their baby into the world.

Community Connect has a very precise mission. It is not a counselling service, but operates as a practical support hub where parents in need can access items like pre-loved clothes, nappies and wipes, blankets and baby towels, pre-loved buggies, cots and other practical aids.

Community Connect currently has five ‘hubs’ across the country, where people can donate baby items and parents in need can access them. These hubs are located in Dublin, Cork, Galway, Kilkenny & Athlone. 

We also have volunteers in many other parts of the country, who can access items from our hubs and assist families in need in those locations.
