Liz Miles is the lead for the Performance Improvement Team in Quality Improvement for the County of San Diego, Behavioral Health Services. She has been a member of the County of San Diego’s Behavioral Health Services team since 2004. Prior to her employment with the County, she was employed by Community Interface Services as a supported living coordinator for three years and was director for a Welfare to Work training program working with low-income individuals. She has vast experience in social services and workforce development, working with both individuals diagnosed with a mental illness and individuals with a developmental disability. Also, CIS’ mission is near and dear to her heart as her son was diagnosed with autism. Liz received a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership with an Emphasis in Behavioral Health from Grand Canyon University, a Masters of Public Health in Health Service Administration, and a Masters of Social Work from San Diego State University.
