The Community Resource EnVison Center (CREC) is dedicated to bringing hope to people who don't know where to turn by creating one place for those in need to access resources leading to self-sufficiency. CREC is focused on four foundational pillars of self-sufficiency: Financial Empowerment, Educational
Advancement, Health & Wellness, and Character & Leadership.

The Community Resource EnVision Center (CREC) was opened in May 2021. After 11 years of serving the community as the Sandpoint Community Resource Center by referring people in need to service providers who could help them. We have expanded our physical space to allow partnering services to co-locate with us and improve access and efficiencies for those people reaching for self-sufficiency.

Our big vision is to empower everyone who has the desire to change their lives with the resources and tools necessary to do so. Even though our desire is for all to reach sustainable financial stability we recognize that not everyone has the capacity to change, and we will continue to serve all people in need regardless of their circumstances.
