Stephen Root

Stephen Root is an experienced professional with a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Hartford. Currently serving as the Assistant Director at NJY Camps since January 2022, Stephen has held multiple roles within the organization, including Division Head and Trip Staff Member, where responsibilities included team leadership, activity organization, and ensuring a safe environment for campers. Previous experiences include assisting overnight hosts at the University of Hartford, as well as internships at Amazon focused on project management and fulfillment operations. Stephen has also worked at Trader Joe's and served in various mentorship and leadership capacities, demonstrating a strong commitment to community engagement and youth development.
