Leanne Levers, PhD, is a political scientist and leader in gender justice with over 15 years of experience in movement building and social impact. Currently serving as the Director of Advocacy & Communications at Comotion, Leanne guides strategy and storytelling for various justice-oriented organizations. They co-founded Dope Black Women, an award-winning platform that celebrates and uplifts Black women globally. Previous roles include Interim Communications Director at Vote Mama, Deputy CEO of White Ribbon Alliance, and Director of Advocacy at the Caribbean Policy Research Institute, where they effectively transformed research into actionable policy reforms. Leanne's contributions have garnered recognition, including the Webby Award for Social Impact.
