James Kale

James Kale has a diverse range of work experience. James is currently working as the Founding Chief of Staff and Director of Special Projects at Comp Sci High, a role they began in July 2020. Prior to this, they worked as an Editor at Solomon Admissions Consulting LLC starting in August 2019. In 2016, James founded Kale Solutions, where they serve as the Chief Consultant. James also worked as a Translator and Editor at Litteræ Traduções starting in August 2019. From November 2018 to February 2020, James was the Regional Leader Manager and Visiting Professor at the Universidade Federal da Bahia for Comissão Fulbright Brasil. Before that, they were a Fulbright Fellow and English Teaching Assistant at Universidade de Pernambuco - UPE from February 2018 to November 2018. James has also held positions such as Special Projects Manager at The Opportunity Network from August 2017 to December 2017, Graduate Assistant at Boston College from August 2016 to August 2017, Resident Assistant for the Office of Residential Life at Boston College from August 2016 to May 2017, and Welcome Center Coordinator for the Office of Residential Life at Boston College in June 2016. James worked as an Instructor for Social Justice Teaching and College & Career Coaching at College Bound from September 2016 to June 2017, and as a Third Grade Teacher at Bridge Boston Charter School from August 2016 to June 2017.

James Kale has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from Boston College. Their field of study included Applied Psychology Human Development, Sociology, African & African Diaspora Studies, and Pre-Law. James also received a High School Diploma, Summa Cum Laude, from The Bronx School for Law, Government & Justice.

In addition, James acquired a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree from Boston College through the Donovan Urban Teaching Scholars Program. Their field of study for the master's degree was Elementary Education and Teaching.

Furthermore, James obtained a certification in Portuguese fluency from Duolingo in August 2015.
