The Thespis company particularly questions the trajectory of modern civilization, the changes that are shaking up our era and shaping new values. The Thespis company seeks, through a polymorphic artistic approach, to adress these changes, through its creations, which are shaped on set, in a collective manner.

We mainly feed on three types of materials:

- civil society, through interviews, meetings, joint work,
- resource objects, such as works, or everyday objects charged with meaning,
- classic or contemporary texts, which we will adapt.

The work starts from the actors. They use materials to create from improvisation on the set. The show sees its form constantly evolving. Nothing is determined in advance. We associate our sound, light and scenographic creators as soon as possible.

The 4th wall is mostly non-existent. The place of the spectator is constantly questioned in our creations.

Through all our shows, we want to integrate the spectator in a communion faithful to humanist values, popular and often funny, because it is our way of dealing with the absurdity of the world.
