Simon Yang

Simon Yang serves as the Division Director at Compal Computer INC. since August 2009, managing the Compal China RD CG4 teams in Kunshan with a focus on IOT and Robotics OEM/ODM projects, product NPI and sustaining engineering, and offering EMS/OEM technical support. Previously, Simon held the position of China R&D Hardware Functional Director, overseeing hardware teams across multiple locations in China, specializing in notebook computers, tablets, and AIO products. Prior to Compal, Simon was a Senior Engineering Design Manager at Advanced Micro Devices from 2006 to 2009, where responsibilities included managing the AMD Client Reference Design Team in Shanghai and coordinating with cross-regional teams on product development. Simon holds a Master's degree in Executive Master of Business Administration from National Central University (2017-2019) and completed undergraduate studies at Chung Yuan Christian University from 1990 to 1993.
