Mazandaran Provincial Bar Association was founded in 1997, following the enactment of the legal standards for obtaining an attorney’s license. Its first board election took place on October 9, 1997 (17 Mehr 1376 in the Iranian calendar) .

Since then, the Association has grown from an initial 118 full-member attorneys to over 2,003 licensed attorneys and 480 trainee lawyers (with additional guest/traveling practitioners) .

Our mission is to uphold professional excellence in legal practice, safeguard clients’ rights, provide continuous professional development, and supervise ethical conduct among our members. We also organize scholarly conferences (often in collaboration with the Union of Iranian Bar Associations – “SCODA”) and offer judicial aid and public legal outreach across the province.
