In 1989, Hailiang started its business in the good time of reform and opening up, with the geographic advantage of being in Zhejiang province and an excellent team. After nearly 30 years of arduous pioneering and hard work, Hailiang builds a platform for continuous development, and joins the “one hundred billion class” enterprise group. For the past era, China has surpassed the developed country that has one hundred-year of history by 40 years of reform and opening up. That is a rapidly changing era. Hailiang meets the requirements of the times, works hard along the way, leaving its own marks in the industry such as: copper processing, basic education, real estate, eco-agriculture, finance, environmental protection, health industry etc. These marks gradually change their impact in the long history. They are connected with the current map for which the three industries – education, health industry and high-tech development of non-ferrous materials are the dominant industries for the Group. The structure has laid a solid foundation for a hundred years of development of Hailiang Group.
