Markus Vesala

Markus Vesala has a diverse work experience in the field of corporate finance. Markus is currently a co-founder of Comparables.ai since November 2020. Prior to that, Markus worked at KPMG Finland, where they held different roles. Markus started as an Analyst in Corporate Finance in September 2017 and was promoted to Senior Analyst in October 2018. In October 2019, they became an Assistant Manager, responsible for assisting clients in M&A execution, capital arrangements, and understanding the value of their businesses. Markus managed day-to-day project execution, including planning, project material, and modeling preparations. Markus also maintained effective communication between clients, financiers, advisors, and other stakeholders. Before joining KPMG, Markus worked as an Analyst in Corporate Finance at Point Capital Ltd from July 2015 to February 2017.

Markus Vesala obtained their Bachelor's Degree in International Business from Aalto University, graduating in 2015. Markus then pursued a Master's Degree in Finance at the same university, which they completed in 2019. During their master's studies, Markus also participated in an exchange program at Seoul National University in 2017. In 2014, they had another opportunity to study abroad through a Bachelor's exchange program at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Additionally, in 2020, Markus obtained a Negotiation Mastery certification from Harvard Business School Online.
