Ashley Unitt

Ashley Unitt has a diverse work experience. Ashley is currently the CTO & NED at Alert Technology Ltd, where they produce real-time airborne Asbestos detectors. Ashley also serves as the Chair at TOffeeAM ltd, focusing on designs for additive manufacture.

Previously, Ashley worked as an Advisor at PQShield and a Non Executive Director at Comparesoft. Ashley also held various mentoring roles at Imperial Venture Mentoring Service (IVMS) and Future Worlds, and was a partner at Light 79.

Ashley's notable role was at NewVoiceMedia (now Vonage), where they worked for over 16 years. Ashley started as a Consultant and eventually became the Chief Scientist and co-founder. Ashley played a key role in the growth of the company, raising significant funding and building a global real-time cloud solution. Ashley also introduced technologies like AWS and WebRTC, and implemented practices such as Agile, DevOps, and continuous delivery.

Ashley Unitt attended Imperial College London from 1986 to 1990, where they obtained an MEng degree in Software Engineering.
