Michael Stephenson currently serves as both Assistant Whiskymaker and UK Brand Ambassador at Compass Box since August 2022. Prior experience includes a role as General Manager at Tap Tavern Richmond, where responsibilities included maximizing profitability and managing social media strategies. As Business Owner of Lucky Shaker from November 2014 to February 2021, Michael developed business plans, managed daily operations, and oversaw license applications. Michael also held the position of Director at Sip & Savour (Pty) Ltd, focusing on innovative food and beverage offerings. Early in their career, Michael gained valuable experience as a Bartender with Sea Dream Yachting and as a Mixologist/Brand Ambassador with Brandhouse Beverages, among other roles. Michael's educational background includes comprehensive training from Durban High School, completing studies in 2000.
