Michael Haft

Michael Haft is an accomplished entrepreneur and leader in the food and coffee industry, currently serving as the Founder and CEO of Compass Coffee since November 2013. Haft also plays a significant role as a Board Member at Union Kitchen, dedicated to building successful food businesses that create jobs. In addition, Haft has been a Strategic Advisor at Prefect since January 2016 and previously authored "Perfect Coffee at Home," a guide to coffee inspired by the experiences of two Marines. A former Captain in the United States Marine Corps from May 2009 to 2013, Haft holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Entrepreneurship from Washington University in St. Louis.
