Dorrys McArdle

Dorrys McArdle has extensive experience in event planning and management, currently serving as a Delivery Service Coordinator at Compass Digital since March 2023. Prior to this role, Dorrys operated as a self-employed consultant for event and venue planning since August 2022 and held the position of Director of Sales and Events at The Morehead Inn from December 2018 to July 2022, where responsibilities included orchestrating various events from inception to completion. Dorrys also contributed significantly to Cary Academy as Fund Director and Development Coordinator from July 2005 to November 2018, overseeing annual fundraising initiatives. Earlier experience includes leading special events at Duke Cancer Institute and serving as Assistant Director of Special Events at Duke University. Dorrys holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communications with a specialization in Public Relations from Rowan University and further education from the University of South Carolina.
