Jacob George

Jacob George is an experienced data scientist and entrepreneur with a robust background in biomedical engineering and mechanical engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Compass Digital since October 2022, Jacob previously worked at IBM from February 2019 to October 2022, where significant contributions included the development of a data pipeline for healthcare analytics and the creation of machine learning models for early-warning notifications in energy operations. Jacob co-founded both Innovation4Health, a platform for healthcare innovation, and Re-able, which focuses on e-health solutions for stroke recovery. Academic achievements include a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta. Jacob’s comprehensive experience spans various roles and industries, highlighting expertise in data analysis, machine learning, and project management.
