Michael Huguelet

Michael Huguelet is an accomplished financial professional with extensive experience in cost control and financial management. Since February 2016, Michael has served as the Director of Cost Control at Compass Group, where leadership of a seven-member team has resulted in significant reductions in corporate overhead costs and improved efficiencies across 28 business sectors. Key responsibilities include managing substantial annual spend across travel, fleet, and telecom programs, negotiating with over 25 vendors, and presenting complex financial recommendations to senior leadership. Prior to Michael's role at Compass Group, experience included work as a Client Financial Management Specialist at Accenture and as a Consultant at Navigant, where forensic audits were conducted during the housing crisis. Michael holds an M.B.A. in Accounting and Finance from UNC Charlotte and a BBA in Accounting and Finance from The Ohio State University.
