Gerald Aue

Gerald Aue is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as Vice President at Compass Lexecon in the EMEA Energy Practice since October 2020. With a background as a Senior Economist in the same practice, Gerald focuses on the Central and Eastern European energy industry across offices in Paris and Berlin. Prior to this, Gerald worked at Wagner, Elbling & Company Management Advisors from August 2005 to September 2020 as a Managing Consultant, overseeing consulting projects and supervising junior consultants. Gerald began at BMW Group in 2004, where a thesis project involved the design and implementation of a system for productivity tracking in motorcycle manufacturing. Academic credentials include an MBA from the University of Warwick, a Master of Science in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from Technische Universität Wien, and certifications as a Chartered Financial Analyst and Energy Risk Professional, along with completion of a leadership curriculum.
