Yoad Shefi

Executive Vice President at Compass Lexecon

Yoad Shefi began their career in 2001 as the Head of the Defense Industry and R&D Section at the Israel Ministry of Defence's Budget Department. In 2003, they became the Head of the IT and Knowledge Management Section until 2004. In 2009, Shefi joined Chicago Partners as an Associate Director. Yoad then moved on to the University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 2010, where they served as an Adjunct Professor of Economics and Strategy. Finally, in 2011, Shefi joined Compass Lexecon as the Executive Vice President.

Yoad Shefi began their education in 1995 at Bar-Ilan University, where they pursued a B.A. degree in Economics and Accounting. Yoad successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 1998. Following this, they enrolled at Tel Aviv University in 2002, completing their M.Sc. in Operations Research in 2004. In the same year, they commenced their Ph.D. in Economics at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, which lasted until 2009. Additionally, in 2007-2008, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
