Tom Tanski has over 30 years of experience in various technical and leadership roles. Tom began their career at Andrews Consulting Group as a Technical Consultant before moving on to positions at Group Danone, Allied Signal Aerospace, MacDermid, and Ahlstrom. In 2005, they joined Court Square Group as the Director of Managed Services, where they focused on team building and technical leadership. Tom then worked at The Stanley Works as a Sr. Technical Consultant, overseeing multiple EDI projects. From 2010 to 2014, Tom served as the VP of Service Delivery at NSI, where they successfully transformed underperforming teams and managed business strategies. Tom has been with CompassMSP since 2014, initially as the Director of Engineering Services and later as the Director of Strategic Services and vCIO. In their current role, Tom is responsible for leading and developing the vCIO team, providing IT leadership and planning for clients, and ensuring client satisfaction. Throughout their career, Tom has demonstrated strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to knowledge sharing and collaboration.
Tom Tanski has a background in Psychology from the University of Hartford. Tom also attended Morse Business School from 1987 to 1988, where they studied Computer Science. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Xavier High School from 1978 to 1982. Additionally, they have obtained certifications such as VMware Sales Professional, IBM Certified System Administrator - IBM i, and ITIL Foundations Certified.
