Alex Root

Alex Root is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in government affairs, legislative support, and advocacy. Notable roles include serving as the Senior Manager of Government Affairs at Compass Pathways and as a Legislative Fellow in the U.S. House of Representatives, where responsibilities involved managing interns and researching legislation. Root was previously employed as a State Affairs Coordinator at the Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America, contributing to COVID-19 resource development and leading a Social Initiatives Committee.
