David Feifel

Principal Investigator - Psilocybin Studies For Treatment Resistant Depression

David Feifel, MD, PhD, is a prominent figure in the field of neuropsychiatry, serving as the Founder and President of Kadima Neuropsychiatry Institute since March 2017. Feifel holds the position of Professor Emeritus at the University of California, San Diego - School of Medicine, where contributions to the academic field have spanned nearly three decades. Additional roles include serving as Expert Faculty for the American Society of Ketamine Physicians, Psychotherapists and Practitioners and Principal Investigator for multiple studies focused on innovative treatments for depression and anxiety, including work with COMPASS Pathways plc, Beckley Psytech, MindMed, and Perception Neuroscience. Feifel is also an active member of the Clinical TMS Society Board of Directors and the National Network of Depression Centers, where efforts are directed towards advancing scientific discovery and providing evidence-based care for depressive disorders. Education includes a residency in psychiatry from UC San Diego and an MD, PhD in Medicine/Neurobiology from the University of Toronto.
