Jo Briggs

Jo Briggs has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Jo'smost recent role is with COMPASS Pathways, where they serve as the Director, People Business Partner. In this role, they provide HR business partnering to leaders and employees in both the UK and US, focusing on organizational, team, and individual growth. Jo is also actively involved in various initiatives such as wellbeing programs, diversity and inclusion council, workforce planning, and talent management.

Before joining COMPASS Pathways, Jo worked at Ipsen as the Senior Director, HR Operations UK & Ireland Global Hub. Jo was responsible for HR operations and ensuring a positive work environment for 900 employees across 4 sites. Jo also held the position of HR Director during their tenure at Ipsen.

Prior to Ipsen, Jo worked at IQVIA (previously known as QuintilesIMS) in various HR positions, including Global HR Director, EMEA HR Director, Director of Organizational Development and Change, and Associate Director of Organizational Development and Change. In these roles, they supported the organization's Real-World Evidence Solutions business unit and provided HR support to employees across multiple countries.

Earlier in their career, Jo worked at Orange Business Services as the Regional Training Head EMEA and Training Coordinator, and at Excel Communications (HRD) Ltd as a Training Coordinator.
